Basing on the experience made working by the side of many prestigious publishing houses of the scientific and technical segment, and reckoning with their peculiar needs, we are now implementing a really innovative proprietary solution, named Type+, that is based on a bundle of technologies comprising Xml and Adobe InDesign,and is aimed to finally allow an automatic typesetting and laying-out workflow supposing as input not only (and not necessarely) databases but also - directly - the most common file formats, that are traditionally provided by authors, such as .docx, .xls, .odt, .jpeg... and so on.
This new solution meets the needs of publishing houses and boards which produce serial publications and are interested in getting a very fast and precise service beside graphics consistency even on most elaborated contexts.
